3D-textured pads

Complementing a wide range of embossings for cotton pads, our cutting-edge nonwoven bonding process using water jet needling offers new surface design options for cotton pads.

Instead of embossing via pressure, waterjet structuring enables a characteristic three-dimensional design of the pad surface. This creates elevated and flat areas, together forming an attractive motif. Not only does the visual appearance of the pads benefit from this, it also scores in terms of thickness. Whilst traditional embossing reduces the pad thickness to a certain extent due to the used pressure, 3D-textured pads can have an attractive design surface without any loss of thickness. This fancy pad design comes along with a plus of volume and softness.
